Distilled from over twenty-five hundred pages of text, this massive study beautifully illustrates Klee's ideas on form and artistic creation with reproductions from sketchbooks, drawings and paintings. An internally handsome example of the 1964 Wittenborn second, revised edition whose dust jacket is notably soiled, creased, worn, chipped, and torn with some paper loss and tape repair to the verso.
