As New/No Jacket - As Issued. 108pp, profusely illustrated in color. This is the special edition of the miniature catalogue documenting Mark Ryden's 2003 New York gallery show "Blood: Miniature Paintings of Sorrow & Fear". Tiny like the work exhibited, the jewel-like book measures a mere 2 ½ x 3 ½", and contains sixteen additional pages not present in the standard edition. It features a genuine tooled leather binding with hand gilded pages, and is accompanied by a 2 ½ x 3 ½" signed and numbered giclee print of "Keiko", a special edition Blood bookmark, an engraved metal magnifying glass, all housed within a 5 1/8 x 3 5/8" fabric-covered solander box. Inside are color reproductions throughout detailing paintings and drawings that are the artist's near-perfect distillation of childhood creepiness transformed into adult fine art. It features blood, blood, more blood, and some meat. A brand new, pristine example of the deluxe edition of this out of print gem limited to five hundred copies with both the book and print NUMBERED (480/500) AND SIGNED by Mark Ryden sealed inside the publisher's unprinted cardboard shipping carton, as issued. 1-931955-02-6 Inventory Number: 026973
