MICK ROCK: A VINTAGE ORIGINAL GELATIN SILVER 8 x 10" PHOTOGRAPH OF MICK RONSON AS ONE OF ZIGGY STARDUST'S "SPIDERS FROM MARS"
(RONSON, MICK) (ROCK, MICK). Rock, Mick. London: Mick Rock Studio, 1972. First Printing. 4to. Silver Gelatin Photograph. Fine.. One 10 x 8" black and white silver gelatin photographic print on semi-gloss, double-weight paper. This is a vintage photograph by Mick Rock of the late, great Mick Ronson onstage at London's Rainbow Theatre in August 1972 - the shows during which David Bowie premiered "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars". Ronson is pictured shirtless in a shiny patterned suit while taking a roundhouse swing at his Les Paul. This print bears a "Photography by MICK ROCK" studio stamp in red ink on the verso, and was acquired by me personally from the renowned photographer in October 1972 when he was in Los Angeles documenting Bowie's two shows at The Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. A bright, most handsome example. Inventory Number: 026899
