VICTOR MOSCOSO: COLOR (COSMIC COMICS)
(MOSCOSO, VICTOR). Moscoso, Victor. San Francisco & Berkeley, CA: Victor Moscoso & The Print Mint, 1971. Edition Not Stated - Presumed First. 8vo. Stapled Illustrated Wrappers. Underground Comic Book. Near Fine.. 32pp, profusely illustrated in color. Reportedly created as the storyboards for a short film, "Color" is the graphically striking 1971 comic written, illustrated, and published by San Francisco master of psychedelia Victor Moscoso. The first underground comic to be printed entirely in full color, it combines elements of early animation, science fiction, and hardcore erotica into a hyper-chromatic, hallucinogenic narrative. A handsome example of this uncommon, massively trippy item bearing a 1971 date of publication and a printed $1.00 price on the front cover showing a bit of wear, creasing, and a mild flattened diagonal crease to the covers. It has been priced accordingly. Inventory Number: 026452
