This is the first American edition of Robert Frank's riveting 1972 career survey, "The Lines of My Hands". Published as a paperback only by Ralph Gibson's Lustrum Press, it came just on the heels of the hardbound version issued in the same year by Yugensha in Japan. An otherwise most presentable example (cited on page 261 of Martin Parr and Gerry Badger's "The Photobook: A History Volume I" ) showing a bit of light soiling along with some mild foxing and spotting to the endpapers and edges of the textblock.
