Artist Monograph. Good +/No Jacket. 96pp, 94 b&w and 17 tipped-in color illustration. This is the comprehensive 1958 monograph on Salvador Dali compiled by the artist's prolific American collector A. Reynolds Morse - who subsequently founded the Salvador DalĂ Museum. A presentable example only of this standard work lacking the publisher's original printed acetate jacket additionally BOLDLY INSCRIBED "Pour Alexander Eliot / Hommage de Dali / 1958" in blue fountain pen across the entire blank leaf facing the half title page showing moderate age-toning, soiling, wear, and abrading to the boards along with foxing to the inside covers, endpapers, and edges of the textblock.
