Published by Liam Gillick and Jack Wendler in 1992, "Twixt One (&) The Other" is a pair of small printed paper portfolios that house two tiny sculptures by Lawrence Weiner. Each consists of a one inch circle and a one inch square of sheet metal that have been enameled on one face - one yellow (for Noah), one green (for Luke) - that are to be placed variably according to the artist's instructions: "Two Objects / One Square / One Round / Placed at the Point Where / Sky & Earth Meet" and "Two Objects / One Square / One Round / Placed at the Point Where / Water & Earth Meet". A bright white, most handsome example of the first and only printing of this charming object limited to five hundred unnumbered copies. Inventory Number: 025161
