JOAN MIRO: LITHOGRAPHE IV - 1969-1972 - WITH SIX ORIGINAL LITHOGRAPHS
(MIRO, JOAN). Calas, Nicolas & Elena. Paris: Maeght Editeur, 1981. First Edition. 4to. Cloth in Illustrated Jacket. Catalogue Raisonné. Near Fine/Near Fine. 212pp, profusely illustrated in color with a color lithographic cover. Text in French. This is the fourth of six volumes comprising the catalogue raisonné of the lithographic work by the renowned late Catalonian master Joan Miro. It contains two hundred and forty-seven fully illustrated entries for works executed between 1969 and 1972, as well as five bound in color lithographs and a color lithographic dust jacket printed by Mourlot that were commissioned exclusively for this publication. A bright, most handsome complete and intact example of the French language first edition of this invaluable reference (entry number two hundred and XXX in Patrick Cramer's "Joan Miro: The Illustrated Books - Catalogue Raisonné") showing some unobtrusive brown spotting on the front free endpaper and bottom edge of the textblock that does not affect the lithographs in any way. PLEASE NOTE: Additional shipping costs are required for this item beyond our standard rates due to its weight and value - we will inform you of the applicable amount at time of purchase. 2-85587-087-9 Inventory Number: 024988
