This is the slender, charmingly designed six page catalogue featuring brief texts by John Ashbery and Pierre Restany published in conjunction with Martial Raysse's January 1963 exhibition at Los Angeles' legendary Virginia Dwan Gallery entitled "Mirrors and Portraits: 1962". Only the French Pop artist's second one-man show in the United States, it traveled to New York's Iolas Gallery the following month. A bright, most handsome example of this uncommon ephemeral item that was the only printed documentation of the event showing a bit of light handling along with two tiny areas of white-out on the rear cover.
