ARSON: AN ARDENT REVIEW - PART ONE OF A SURREALIST MANIFESTATION
(ARSON). del Renzio, Tony, Editor. London: Toni del Renzio, 1942. First Edition. 4to. Stapled Printed Wrappers. Surrealist Periodical. Good. (But Incomplete). 32pp, profusely illustrated in b&w. This is the first (and only) installment of the Italian-born, London-based Surrealist Toni del Renzio's wartime periodical "Arson". It includes contributions by Andre Breton, Nicolas Calas, John and Robert Melville, Eileen Agar, Giorgio de Chirico, Gordon Onslow-Ford, Emmy Bridgewater, Conroy Maddox, Esteban Frances, Edith Rimmington, Pierre Mabille, Marguerite Salle, Andre Masson, and Toni del Renzio. A most presentable example of the uncommon thirty-two page magazine itself lacking the publisher's printed wrapper showing some creasing and age-toning along the extremities. It has been priced accordingly. Inventory Number: 023494
