In a career spanning fifty years, he created the timeless Day-Glo one-sheet for Bruce Brown's genre-defining film "The Endless Summer", graced such magazines as "Surfer", "Rolling Stone", "Esquire" and "Billboard" with his illustrations, designed album packaging for The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band, The Beatles' "Magical Mystery Tour", The Jefferson Airplane's "Crown of Creation", Bob Dylan's "Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid", The Grateful Dead's "Skeletons From the Closet", Kiss, Blondie, and most notably The Rolling Stones' classic "Exile on Main Street, and concert posters for the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Cream, and The Velvet Underground.
