As New./No Jacket - As Issued.. np (102pp), 50 color illustrations. Published as a boxed edition of three hundred copies, "The Loneliest" is a poem-book inspired by Thelonious Monk and his music in which the Haiku poetry of Amber Tamblyn is coupled with original collages by George Herms. It consists of fifty individual sheets of 80# Cougar White Cover stock printed recto only that combine a single Haiku poem with a vivid color photo collage, accompanied by a single loose colophon sheet. These are gathered in a vellum portfolio laid into a cardboard box bearing a black and white image of Thelonious Monk affixed to the cover. A most handsome artist's proof example of this uncommon item INITIALED AND NUMBERED "GH 20/30" by Herms in pencil on the verso of the colophon, as issued. Inventory Number: 021899
