The text on the verso reads: "Hitler says: "Democracy is Dead". Democracy is dead Hitler,,, dead-set on burying you deep under your own debris. Right now the vultures are flying over Berchtesgaden waiting for you to come home to roost. Our dimes and dollars will hasten the day we stow Hitler away. Let's buy bonds - to buy bombs to bury Hitler. Don't take a powder... help buy some". The verso states "The immediate, "all out" public purchase of U.S. WAR STAMPS and BONDS will help bring VICTORY in the shortest possible time! Let's ALL do MORE than our share in JULY! WAR STAMPS and BONDS are now easily available in most RETAIL STORES. Victory - 1942!".
