This is the uniquely designed brochure cum catalogue published in conjunction with a November 1962 Los Angeles gallery exhibition of fourteen paintings and works on paper executed by Jasper Johns between 1957 and 1962. The show - billed here as a retrospective - was the artist's first West Coast showing, and this is Johns' very first monographic publication.
