This is the postcard issued in conjunction with John Lennon and Yoko Ono's 1970 Plastic Ono Band single "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" and the couple's global campaign to bring a close to the United States' participation in the Vietnam War. The recto reads "WAR IS OVER! / IF YOU WANT IT / Happy Christmas from John & Yoko" with "POST CARD ©COPYRIGHT JOHN & YOKO '70" on the verso. A brand new, most handsome vintage 1970 example - not one of several reissues over the years - of this uncommon ephemeral item. Inventory Number: 026931
