Fine.. 319pp, profusely illustrated in color & b&w. Designed by Jim Goldberg, Philip Brookman, Hans Werner Holzwarth and Design pur, Berlin. Published in conjunction with a 1995 traveling exhibition organized by curator Philip Brookman for The Corcoran Gallery of Art, Addison Gallery of American Art, and Zurich Museum of Design, Jim Goldberg's "Raised by Wolves" is an elaborately art-directed, harrowing photographic journey amongst California's homeless urban youth. Like many of Goldberg's projects, it includes textual commentaries and interviews with many of its photographic subjects. A brand new, most handsome example (cited on page 303 of Martin Parr and Gerry Badger's "The Photobook: A History Volume II") of the 1997 second edition still in the publisher's shrinkwrap.
