Overseen by Julien Cain, Charles Sorlier, and Fernand Mourlot over a twenty-six year publication span, this comprises five of the six volume catalogue raisonné of the lithographic work of the renowned late French (by way of Russia) master of Judaic imagery, Marc Chagall. The full set contains over one thousand, one hundred fully illustrated entries as well as twenty-four bound-in lithographs and four lithographic dust jackets printed by Mourlot Freres that were commissioned exclusively for these publications. They are as follows: "The Lithographs of Chagall: 1922-1957" (1960) - Fine in a Fine dust jacket with twelve original graphics; "The Lithographs of Chagall II: 1957-1962" (1963) - Fine in a Fine dust jacket with twelve original graphics; "The Lithographs of Chagall IV: 1969-1973" (1974) - Fine in a Fine dust jacket with two original graphics; "Chagall Lithographe V": 1974-1979" (1984) - Fine in a Fine dust jacket issued without original graphics; and "Chagall Lithographs VI": 1980-1985" (1986) - Fine in a Fine dust jacket issued without original graphics.
