With a chronology. This is a nicely appointed 1964 paperbound Japanese monograph on the graphic work of noted "Shin Hanga" printmaker Shiko Munakata. It features Munakata's short essay "The Way of the Woodcut Print", a brief appreciation by Soetsu Yanagi, and over one hundred reproductions. A presentable example of this uncommon item showing some chipping and attendant paper loss along the spine, a crease to the bottom edge of the rear of the textblock, and a diagonal soft crease through the front cover and first few pages at the lowere foredge corner.
