This is the massive catalogue published in conjunction with "Correspondence: An Exhibition of the Letters of Ray Johnson" held at The North Carolina Museum of Art from October 31st through December 5th 1976. It reproduces in facsimile eighty-four groups of artworks and letters by the late Fluxus and Correspondence Art titan sent to the likes of Shusaku Arakawa, Anna Banana, Lynda Benglis, Christo and Jeanne-Claude, Paula Cooper, Robert Cumming, Richard L. Feigen, Charles Henri Ford, Ken Friedman, Henry Geldzahler, General Idea, Dick Higgins, Lil Picard, James Rosenquist, Ed Ruscha, Arturo Schwarz, Davi Det Hompson, Jan Van Der Marck, Ben Vautier, William T. Wiley, John Willenbecher, Jonathan Williams, Karl Wirsum, William S. Wilson, and many more. A complete, internally most handsome example of this uncommon and charming item showing some typical wear, delamination, and age-toning as well as a one inch closed tear to the Ray Johnson-illustrated outer portfolio.
