This is the innovatively designed catalogue published in conjunction with a 1971 Museum of Modern Art retrospective of the prints and multiples issued by Los Angeles-based Gemini G.E.L. It features a complete catalogue raisonné to date of works by the likes of Josef Albers, John Altoon, Wallace Berman, Sam Francis, Jasper Johns, Donald Judd, Ellsworth Kelly, Roy Lichtenstein, Man Ray, Claes Oldenburg, Ken Price, Robert Rauschenberg, Ed Ruscha, Frank Stella, and more. A spectacularly well-preserved, bright white example of the deluxe edition in the publisher's vacuformed plastic slipcase housing the Jasper Johns screenprint multiple "Target" - which is signed in the screen, NOT by Johns' hand - complete with attached watercolor discs and paintbrush on the left and the exhibition catalogue plus protective foam insert sheet on the left. 0-87070-615-2 Inventory Number: 024997
