This is the catalogue published in conjunction with a 1991 Bruce Weber exhibition that traveled from Los Angeles' Fahey/Klein Gallery to Tokyo's Parco Exposure Gallery. Beautifully designed and printed, it is a well-curated selection of fashion editorial, celebrity portraiture, dogs and cats, and personal photographs accompanied by essays from the photographer as well as William S. Burroughs. Those pictured here include Lisa Marie, Tatjiana Patitz, Gerard Depardieu, Mike Tyson, Robert De Niro, John Lee Hooker, Siegfried and Roy, Manuel Alvarez Bravo, C.Z. Guest, Robert Mitchum, Vanessa Paradis, Dirk Bogarde, Paul Bowles, Vittorio Storaro, and many others. A brand new, most handsome example of the 1991 first printing additionally bearing the BOLDLY SIGNED AND DATED INSCRIPTION "For ... / I promise never again to have a salon hanging, / Thanks so much - / Bruce Weber / LA - 1991" to Fahey/Klein's preparator at the gallery's opening in black ink on the title page.
