It is instead a cultural and artistic history of the square motif, and a companion volume to "The Discovery of the Circle". An internally bright, most handsome example of the 1965 Wittenborn first American printing of this little gem (whose 1960 Italian first printing is cited on pages 98-99 of the 2015 edition of Georgio Maffei's "Munari's Books") showing some soiling and staining to its white covers and top edge of the textblock.
