Published in conjunction with her 1995 solo exhibition at Los Angeles' Museum of Contemporary Art, Uta Barth's first publication gorgeously illustrates the artist's then-current body of work. Its hazy color photographs of indistinct residential settings and domestic details are mysteriously evocative and suggestive of great meaning. An internally most handsome example of the first MoCA edition additionally SIGNED AND DATED "Uta Barth - 1996" in black ink on the title page showing a small indentation to the front cover along with some barely noticeable sunning along the spine.
