SPACE AS SUPPORT: ANDRE, BUREN, IRWIN, NORDMAN: PART III - MARIA NORDMAN: ONE DAY ONLY: DAWN TO DUSK
(NORDMAN, MARIA). Nordman, Maria, Jan Butterfield, Mark Rosenthal & James Elliott. Berkeley, CA: University Art Museum, the University of California Berkeley, 1979. Edition Not Stated - Presumed First. Oblong 4to. Printed Wrappers. Exhibition Brochure. Near Fine.. One 8 ½ x 14" sheet printed offset recto and verso, machine-folded vertically in thirds to make 6pp, no illustrateions. With a bibliography. "Space as Support" was a series of four 1979 site-specific installations commissioned by the University Art Museum at UC Berkeley from artists Carl Andre, Daniel Buren, Robert Irwin, and Maria Nordman. This austere, suitably minimally-designed brochure was distributed in conjunction with Maria Nordman's intervention at the Museum that took place from 5:00 AM until 9:00 PM on June 21st entitled "One Day Only: Dawn to Dusk." A most handsome example of this exceedingly uncommon - not a single copy is currently cited in OCLC WorldCat - ephemeral item that was the only printed documentation of Nordman's event.
