This is the seventh installment (Volume 1, Number 7) of Francoise Mouly and Art Spiegelman's ground-breaking graphic magazine that single-handedly elevated comix to a new level of intellectual embrace. The contributors to this volume are Joost Swarte, R. Crumb, Mariscal, Sue Coe, Lloyd deMause, Charles Burns, Mark Beyer, Ever Meulen, Charles Burns and Spiegelman, Greil Marcus and Scott Gillis, Francis Masse, "Tokyo" Terry Yumura, Yosuke Kawamura, Sugiura Shigeru, Gary Panter, Tsuge Yoshiharu (whose "Red Flowers" is bound in as a separate booklet), and Art Spiegelman ("Maus: A Survivor's Tale - Chapter 7"). An otherwise most handsome example with the publisher's deliberately torn-off front cover piece still affixed to the title page showing some minor insect damage to a few pages at the upper foredge corner.
