Los Angeles: Richard Neutra. Very Good -. This exceedingly rare postcard
was produced by the famed Viennese architect's office for tours of Neutra's
own residence, the VDL Research House. Neutra is arguably the most important
Modernist architect to practice in Los Angeles, and was a tireless self-promoter.
These were used to provide directions when soliciting a client, or having
a public open house. It is in remarkably good condition, especially as it
more than likely dates to the mid to late 1930's. This copy was obtained
directly from the Neutra office, and shows a few brown spots from moisture
on the recto, with some heavier spotting on the verso.
